This Payment Policy explains how payments are processed for orders placed with International Driving Authority on idaoffice.org. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who you are paying
Orders placed on idaoffice.org are sold by INTERNATIONAL DRIVING AUTHORITY LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in the United Kingdom under number OC418927, of 207 Regent Street, 3rd Floor Suite, London, W1B 3HH, United Kingdom.
2. Pricing and currency
Prices for our services are shown on our Prices page and again at checkout before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Any taxes or fees charged by us are indicated before you confirm your order; destination-country import duties, taxes, and customs fees are described separately in our Shipping Policy and are not included.
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We do not add handling charges, currency-conversion margins of our own, or fees that appear after confirmation. If your bank or card issuer applies its own conversion or international-transaction fee, that fee is theirs and is outside our control.
3. Accepted payment methods
We accept:
Cards — Visa, MasterCard, and American Express;
Digital wallets — Apple Pay and Google Pay, which charge the card you have saved in the wallet;
PayPal;
Alipay and WeChat Pay;
Binance Pay — paid in USDT;
Bank transfer, on request.
Availability depends on your location, on your bank, and on the method's own coverage — not every option is offered in every country. What is available to you is shown at checkout.
4. What we do not accept
cash, cheques, or money orders;
money-transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram;
cryptocurrency sent directly to a wallet address outside Binance Pay;
payment from a card or account you are not authorised to use.
If someone asks you to pay for our service by any of these methods, it is not us. Please report it to [email protected], and do not send the payment.
5. Paying with someone else's card
You may pay with someone else's card — a parent's, a partner's, an employer's — provided the cardholder knows about the payment and agrees to it. Many of our customers are paid for by family, and we have no objection to it.
What we cannot allow is a payment the cardholder has not agreed to. If you use a card without the holder's knowledge, it is not a payment we can honour.
What happens if the cardholder disputes the charge. When a chargeback is filed, the document issued for that order stops being valid while the dispute is open and can no longer be verified online. It is cancelled permanently only if the chargeback succeeds, and restored if the dispute is withdrawn or decided in our favour. This applies even where the document was already delivered.
This is why we ask you to contact us before opening a dispute (see section 12). If a cardholder does not recognise the charge, one email to us usually settles it in a day, and nobody loses a document over it.
6. How your payment is processed
Cards, digital wallets, Alipay, and WeChat Pay are handled by Stripe; PayPal payments by PayPal; cryptocurrency payments by Binance Pay. Payment and application pages are encrypted using HTTPS and TLS. We do not store full card details on our own servers — our providers hold them, and we see only a masked reference and the transaction identifier. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the personal data associated with your order.
Our payment providers operate their own fraud and sanctions screening at the payment layer. Transactions associated with jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions, or flagged by their fraud systems, may be declined automatically. We do not control those decisions and are not always told the reason for them.
7. When payment is taken
Payment is taken when you place your order. We begin processing your application only after we have received both a complete application and full payment.
For bank transfers, processing begins when the funds reach our account, which usually takes 1–5 business days depending on your bank and country. Please quote your order number in the transfer reference; without it we may be unable to match the payment to your order.
8. How the charge appears on your statement
Charges from us appear on your card or bank statement as IDAOFFICE.
If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before you open a dispute with your bank. Write to [email protected] with the amount and date, and we will identify the order for you within 1 business day. Most disputes turn out to be a family member's order or an unfamiliar descriptor, and we can resolve those in minutes — a chargeback takes weeks and helps nobody.
9. Failed or declined payments
If a payment fails, your order is not processed until payment completes successfully. We do not retry a declined card automatically; you can try again at checkout with the same or a different method.
Common reasons for a decline are an expired card, insufficient funds, a mistyped security code, or your bank blocking an international transaction. Your bank can usually tell you which applies — we cannot see the reason.
If an order remains unpaid, we keep the application on file so you can complete it later; nothing is produced and nothing is shipped until payment is received.
10. Duplicate charges
If you were charged twice for the same order, tell us and we will refund the duplicate. You do not need to prove anything — we can see it in our records.
11. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which sets out what is refundable, what is not, and the time limits that apply. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the order. Once we issue a refund, the time it takes to appear depends on your provider — usually 5–10 business days for cards and wallets.
Binance Pay. We charge in USDT, and we refund in USDT — the same amount we received, returned to the account the payment came from. USDT is denominated in US dollars, so a refund returns the same amount of USDT you paid; its value in other currencies may have changed.
If you bought USDT with another token in order to pay us, that conversion happened between you and your exchange, and any gain or loss on it is not something we can return — we only ever hold and return the USDT you sent.
12. Chargebacks
If a chargeback is filed, we respond to your bank with the evidence we hold: the order record, proof of delivery, your acceptance of our terms, and our correspondence with you. This is a slower and more adversarial route than simply asking us for a refund, and in most cases it produces the same outcome more slowly.
Where a document has already been issued and a chargeback is filed, that document stops being valid while the dispute is open. It is cancelled permanently only if the chargeback succeeds, and restored if the dispute is withdrawn or decided in our favour, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which sets out what happens next.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top shows the current revision.
