How to get an International Driving Permit in Transnistria?
According to the Vienna Convention of 1968, International Driving Permits (IDPs) are authorized to be issued by national governments or designated organizations. In most countries, this function is carried out by automobile associations affiliated with the AIT/FIA, the police, or other authorized entities. To obtain an International Driving Permit in Transnistria, you must possess a local license and apply to the relevant authorities here (please notify us if the link is not working). What do you need to know to drive in Transnistria?

- מותר לכם לתת זכות קדימה לכלי רכב אחרים בצומת המסומנת בשלט "חץ ירוק" אם אותם כלי רכב אינם עומדים לפנות.
- השלט “אסור לעצור” מיועד לנהגים של כלי רכב מסחריים. השלט מאפשר להעמיס/לפרוק סחורות רק אם הנהג מחזיק אישור ממשרד הפנים של טרנסניסטריה.
- אסור לעצור על מעברי חצייה או בטווח של 10 מטרים לפניהם ומאחוריהם (אלא אם כן אתם מחויבים לתת זכות קדימה).
- אסור לעקוף כלי רכב אחרים בתוך שטחים בנויים במרחק הקטן מ-50 מ' ממעבר חצייה.
- בלילה ובתנאי ראות לקויים, הולכי הרגל מחויבים ללבוש אלמנטים מחזירי אור כדי שיהיו נראים בחושך.
- נהגו עם אורות דרך (אורות מעומעמים) גם בשעות היום.
