- For non-residents:
- Under the Fourth Amendment to Section 33(c) of the Land Transport Act of Maldives, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation may accept valid driving licences issued by approved foreign countries for a period of 90 days, without the need to obtain a new (Maldivian) licence. [5]
